These paths feature the most immediately observable object: the natural environment. It will thus be possible to observe the characteristics of the natural beauty of Varigotti and the Finale area: the sea, olive trees, lemon trees, Mediterranean scrub and the geological environment in particular.
The paths take their cue from the child/environment relationship, developed in a way that leads back to the natural elements: earth, air, water.
The topic “the sea” is definitely motivating for children and has shown a special creative ability, lively, original and rich.

Operational objectives
A small Mediterranean aquarium will be built on the beach. The children will collect pebbles, sand, shells, seaweed....to glue together to create the seabed. Then they will make shapes of fish, starfish, seahorses... to colour and hang in the most suitable habitat inside the aquarium. Materials each child should bring: pencil case with coloured pencils, scotch tape, vinavil, glue, scissors. (proposed by La nostra Liguria)
The activity takes place on the beach: through fun riddles, the children, divided into teams, will have to recognize fish and marine organisms and attribute them to the relevant environment (sandy seabed - stingrays, soles...-, rocky seabed - octopuses, moray eels, starfish...- , open sea - sharks, swordfish, dolphins, jellyfish, turtles...-, seagrass bed - seahorse...-). (proposed by Our Liguria)
“Our monuments are not in the squares of our cities, they are our stripes” stated the Ligurian poet G. Boine. Many strips are populated by a silvery sea of centuries-old olive trees. At an olive mill, children will learn about the olive tree-a symbolic plant of Mediterranean culture-as well as cultivation and harvesting techniques. Tasting. (proposed by Our Liguria)
Following curious clues from the guidebook, children will discover curious strategies of plant defense and their adaptation to environmental weather conditions. They will visit the interior of the ancient church of S. Lorenzo, which recalls the poem "Evenings of Liguria", in which Vincenzo Cardarelli compares the Ligurian churches to "ships about to set sail". (proposed by Our Liguria)
Children can go down inside an ancient early Christian church and learn about the world of bees at the Benedictine Monastery apiary. (proposed by Our Liguria)
Each child will be able to make a small decorated object (frame) by gluing together marine materials collected directly from the beach, taking a memento of this day with them. (proposed by Sibyl Cooperative Society)
Through the exploration of a beach with special reefs, children will be able to sco-prize with a biologist the main animal and plant species of the Mediterranean marine environment and the adaptations of animals to environmental conditions. (proposed by Sibyl Cooperative Society)
Fun animation and orientation game in which different teams must find the treasure of the Saracen pirate Golosone, hidden in the seaside village. (proposed by the Sibilla Società Cooperativa) and Our Liguria.
Walking on the beach, children will be able to discover the marine environment using the five senses, each of which will characterize a place of rest and hands-on activity along the way. (proposed by Sibyl Cooperative Society)
Along the trail to the Little Church of St. Lawrence, children will learn to a-skill the messages of the natural environment through the use of the five senses, using them at the various places of rest and hands-on activities along the way. (proposed by Sibyl Cooperative Society)
Fun game of learning appropriate terms of Mediterranean marine fauna and flora. (proposed by Sibyl Cooperative Society)
